Applying for Single Claims (Employee and Manager)

Summary

An employee can submit a claim through the Payboy system. This claim can be approved or denied by the employee's supervisors, or by an administrator.

Submitting a claim as an employee (on the app)

  • From the sidebar, select Claims.

  • On the main page, all pending, approved, denied and cancelled claims can be seen. To apply for a new claim, select the + button on the top right corner.

  • Using the scrollbar, select the claim type and fill in the relevant details

  • When the application is completed, click on the Submit button.

Submitting a claim as an employee (on the web)

  • Open the sidebar and select Claims > Submit Claims (Single).

  • Select the Claim Type from the drop-down list, taking note of the limit for this claim type, if applicable.

  • Enter the Amount, inclusive of GST (if applicable).

  • If this claim does not have GST, untick the Has GST checkbox.

  • Select the Date of Expenditure.

  • Enter Remarks (if necessary).

  • Click Attach Receipt button and upload a picture of the receipt as proof of claim. 

  • Click Submit to submit this claim and wait for approval.

Submitting a claim on behalf of your subordinate, as a manager (on the web)

  • Open the sidebar and select Claims > New Claim.

  • Select the Claim Type from the drop-down list.

  • Select the Employee you wish to create this claim for.

  • Select the Approval State, to immediately create the claim in an Approved or Denied status.

  • Enter the Amount, inclusive of GST (if applicable).

  • If this claim does not have GST, untick the Has GST checkbox.

  • Select the Date of Expenditure.

  • Input any Remarks if necessary.

  • Click the Attach Receipt button to upload the receipt of payment as a proof of claim.

  • Click the Submit button to create the claim.

How to view, edit or delete an existing claim

  • Open the sidebar and select Claims > All Claims.

  • Select the View, Edit, or Delete button located on the right side of the claim you wish to view or modify.

  • If you wish to Edit the claim, follow the corresponding steps in the claim creation guide above.

Important note: Deleted claims are permanently removed and cannot be restored. Also, ensure that the correct claim type has been created before attempting to create claims under that type
