The attendance system allows admins to track employees’ attendance as well as punctuality. Payboy's attendance system can be integrated with third-party devices such as entry devices, and our mobile app supports location-based tracking for checking into work.


Attendance Logs

The attendance logs will be automatically updated if it is integrated with a third-party device. In the case where there is no third-party device involved, the employee is allowed to log his/her own attendance via the Payboy software (mobile app/web portal). However, as an admin, you will have the authority to manually add attendance logs on behalf of your employees without any prior requirement.

It is important to log attendances properly because:

  • It determines how many hours has the employee worked

  • It allows accurate calculation of Overtime Hours, hours worked on Rest days, and Holidays to be taken into account during payroll generation


How to add an attendance log on behalf of the employee

  • From the side menu, go to Attendance > Attendance logs

  • Click on + Add Attendance in the top right corner

  • Select the Employee name and Outlet from the drop-down list

  • Select the Start Date and Start Time

  • Select the End Date and End Time

  • Click the Submit button to create the attendance log



How to mass add attendance log on behalf of the employees

  • From the side menu > click Attendance > Attendance Logs

  • Click on + Mass Add on the top right corner of the screen

  • Select the Employee's Name

  • Select the Date

  • Key in the Time In and Time Out (24 Hrs Format)

  • Select the Branch

  • Click the Submit button to mass-add the attendance logs



How to view, edit, or delete an existing attendance log

  • Click View, Edit, or Delete located on the right side of the particular attendance log accordingly.

  • If employees check in with an address and a matching outlet, the respective branch names will be colored green.
