A guide on generating leave reports in Payboy

Summary

When managing a company, keeping clear and accurate records for easy reference and auditing is key. Payboy allows you to generate detailed reports breaking down the allocation and use of leaves by the employees in your company 

Generating a Leave Report (Default template)

  • From the side menu, go to Reports > Leaves

  • Indicate the Period for the report, either an individual year or a custom report period

  • You can choose to Filter the data further according to Organisations, Departments, Positions and Employees, as well as Approval Type

  • You can also choose to classify by Unpaid or Paid leaves

  • Lastly, under the Sort tab, you can decide which field the data is sorted by (e.g. alphabetical order for names, or in order of start dates for leaves applied)

  • Click View Summary Page to see a detailed breakdown of the data within the Payboy webpage

  • Alternatively, you can choose click Generate Excel Report to download all the data in an Excel file

Customizing your report template

  • If you would like to edit which data fields show up in the report, you can choose to Create a new Leave report template

  • Indicate the Name of the leave report template

  • You will be brought to a page where you can drag and drop fields to be included or excluded in the report (Note: The order in which the fields are dragged will determine how how the columns will be arranged in the generated Excel report)

  • Click Submit to save the changes
