Summary

Holidays in Payboy are defaulted to your individual country so for instance, a Vietnamese company will automatically follow Vietnamese calendar holidays.

However, the system is also flexible enough to allow companies to add their own unique holidays, or remove certain holidays if need be.

A proper set-up of this will ensure an accurate and fuss-free calculation of payrolls at the end of the month.

Creating a new Holiday Group

  • From the sidebar, head to Company > Holidays

  • Click on +New Holiday Group

  • Then you will be directed to the page to key in the Name of the Holiday Group, for easy reference (if you have employees based in multiple countries, you can name each group according to the country).

  • Once the group is created, you can begin to set up the holidays applicable to the group. You can choose the option to Import Holidays or Add New Holidays.

(Note: We have preset holiday calendars for certain countries in which some of our client companies work. Hence, if you can't find a calendar for your country, don't fret! Talk to our support team and we will help you.)

Importing Holidays

  • Scroll to the bottom of the list of the intended country's holiday and select Import Holiday

  • Select the Year and Country, and proceed to click on Submit.

Adding Holidays

If you are not able to locate the Country from the list that has been preloaded with the holiday list, you will need to manually include the holidays of a particular country.

  • To do so, you can click on Add New Holiday

  • Key in the Name and Date of the Holiday, then proceed by clicking on Submit

  • This step can also be used for any additional holidays for a particular year that has not been included on the list.
