Attendance Audit

The attendance audit trail can assist admins in tracking the movements of employees in relation to clocking in and out on the app.

This tab assists admins and the Payboy support team in detecting issues within the attendance module on the system. The attendance audit trail will show when an employee enters the app and closes the app as well as when they have successfully checked in and/or out.

  • To access this module from the dashboard, go to the Attendance tab > Attendance Audits.

  • The audit logs can be filtered by employees as well as the created date (by clicking on the words "created date").

  • A successful check-in or check-out on the system will look something like this on the audit logs:

The system will state that the employee has attempted a check-in via the audit log "User has attempted a check-in" and "[Mobile] Clicked on check-in button" if the check-in was done via the mobile app.

If the employee has seen a "check-in successfully" pop up on their mobile, the system will reflect an audit entry "User successfully check-in on mobile" and "[Mobile] System Admin has received User's successful check-in" if the check-in was done via mobile app.

The result is similar for employees checking out, any other audit entries in the log do not reflect that the employee has attempted a check-in or out.
