Hello, this guide will teach you the steps on how to apply for the Productivity Solutions Grant on the business grant portal. 

To access the business grants portal, please go to https://www.businessgrants.gov.sg/
You will need your Corp Pass access to log in to the business grants portal. Please ensure that you have at least Preparer/Acceptor access before proceeding. You can enable access via Corp Pass.

How to submit a new grant application?

Step 1: Click on "Get new grant"


Step 2: Select the Sector that best describes your business.

Step 3: Click "Next"


Step 4: Select the 2nd row (Upgrade key business areas, such as adopt technology, improve business processes or raise service standards) and click "Next"


Step 5: Select the 1st Row (Pre-scoped Productivity Solutions) and click "Next"


Step 6: Scroll down till you see the "Proceed" button and click it


Step 7: Select "Yes" and click "Next"


Step 8: Fill up your contact details and click "Next"


Step 9: Select "IT Solution"

Step 10: Search for "Absolute Payboy HRMS Version 1.0 - Package X (XX Employees)"

Step 11: Select the Package that matches the title of your quotation and scroll down to the next screen.


Step 12: Fill up the No of Units as "1"

Step 13: Indicate the Date that you wish to start using Payboy.

Step 14: You can choose from the following to describe why you need this solution:


• More efficient way of generating payroll and itemised payslips for employees. HR do not need to manually calculate salary and CPF using excel spreadsheet.
• Reduce man hours on processing HR administrative work such as leave application and claim application.
• Single data source to search for employees' past HR & Payroll records.
• Allow employees to settle their HR work outside of office. A cloud solution will allow HR to generate payroll and handle administrative matters without being inside the office in situations such as Covid-19.
• HR can generate reports for management without manual tabulation on excel and looking for files in multiple places.

Step 15: Select "Payboy Pte. Ltd." from the Vendor List and scroll down to the next screen


Step 16: Upload the quotation that was sent to you by Payboy's sales representative and scroll down to the next screen.


Step 17: Location Type: Select "Shop/Office/Factory/Institution"

Step 18: Key in the Postal Code of your office and fill up the address.

Step 19: Fill up the rest of the details and click "Next"


Step 20: Choose "Subscription/Lease" from the dropdown on how you intend to make the purchase.

Step 21: Indicate "12" months as the duration.

Step 22: Indicate the Monthly Fee; E.g. 75 employees

(Monthly fee will be 75 * $10 = $750)

Step 23: For Service fee, it will be the sum of Professional Services: Setup and Migration of data and Training: On-site training for both administrators and employees plus unlimited off-site training.

Step 24: Click on the "Next" button.


Step 25: Fill up the Business Impact portion.

Step 26: You can choose from the following to describe how the solution will change the way you do things. Please only copy the options that suit your business needs.
-I use to have to use excel for doing payroll reports, now everything will be automatically generated from data on Payboy.
-I use to do my leave & claims application via paper forms, with Payboy mobile app, my employees can submit all applications digitally. This will save my HR time from compiling and manually recording the leave and claim balance of each of my employee.
-With the appraisal module, my managers can keep track of my employees performance and improve areas that they are lacking.

Step 27: You can choose from the following to describe which task will be more efficient. Please only copy the options that suit your business needs.
-Shorten processing time on employee’s leave and claims.
-Allow employees online access to their monthly payroll.
-Lesser time spent on manual compiling of reports.
-More transparency for HR processes in the company.
-No more manual entry for CPF & Tax Filing.
-Salary processing will be automated rather than manual entry to bank platform.

Step 28: Indicate the % of time you expect to save from implementing Payboy in your company and click on the "Next" button


Step 29: Fill up the Declare & Review page and Click on "Submit"


Upon successful application, you will receive an email from MTI BGP (Above image for reference)☺
