In this claim settings, you could set cut off dates for claims. Cut off dates for claims are usually set either near the end of the month or a certain number of days after the month.
Claims made and approved by designated managers/admins before the cut-off date will be reimbursed on that month payroll, while claims made and approved after the cut-off date will be rolled over to the following month's pay cycle.
For example, the cut-off date for the company is set on the 28th. A claim made on the 17th will be reimbursed while a claim made on the 29th will only be reimbursed in the next month's pay cycle. For February's case, the claim will be carried to the next month (March).
How to set the Cut Off Date
- Head to Claims > Claim settings on the side menu.
- Enter the Cut-off date for approvals
(Note: Leave this blank to have no cut-off date)
- Click Submit to save any changes made.
