Summary
Under certain circumstances, especially in larger companies, employees might be transferred to work for different organizations within the overall company. To facilitate this process, we have included an employee transfer function so that you may easily manage the movement of employees within your company without having to onboard them again.
From the side menu, go to Employees > Transfer Employees
Select the last day the employees will be working in the organization
Select the organization you would like your employees to transfer from
Click Next
Select the first day the employees will be working in the organisation
(Note: This has to be later than later than the last date employees work in the previous organisation)
Select the organisation you would like your employees to transfer to
Select the department, position, employment type, and pay scheme
(Note: The pay scheme will remain the same if left blank)Click Next
Select the Employees you would like to transfer. You may apply filters and enter employee names/NRICs to streamline the search
If you have selected multiple employees but would like to customize their transfer details individually, you may do so by opening up an optional customize form in this last step. The settings will override those provided in the "Transfer to" section. If you are only transferring 1 employee, this function is unnecessary.
Click Next
You will be brought to a confirmation page. Click Confirm to verify the transfers.
Note:
When an employee is transferred to another organization, the system retains only their basic information, without carrying over current leave or claim entitlements. These additional details will need to be re-entered after the transfer if necessary, as the employee is considered a new profile in the system.
The employee will also lose access to payslips from their previous organization. If needed, HR or Admin can manually share these previous payslips with the employee.
