This feature is to disseminate information to all or a selected group of employees. This announcement would be shown on the employee's dashboard and you, as an administrator, are able to track the acknowledgment of the employees.
Note: No notification will be sent to the employee to check their dashboard.
Let's get to creating a company announcement on Payboy:
Step 1: Head to the Announcement page, which can be found from the left sidebar > Company > Announcements
Step 2: Create a New Announcement, which can be found at the top right of the page
Step 3: After you have filled in the "Display to" field, you may click on "View Employees" to see who will be eligible to see this announcement.
Step 4: After you have filled in everything, set the Unpublish Date and Unpublish Time, then click on "Publish Now".
Step 5: The announcement is now published for the employees to see on the dashboard.
You will also be able to view which of the employees the announcement has been published to have acknowledged it.
i) You can view it on the Announcements page
OR
ii) You can click on View on the particular announcement followed by View Employee
Under the header "Acknowledge At", the date reflects when a specific employee acknowledged the announcement. Pending indicates that the employee has yet to acknowledge the announcement.
