Creating the shift using Shift Planning

  • From this page, you'll be able to view all planned shifts and also create new shifts.

  • If you wish to create a Shift Template you may read up on our article here

  • Click Create Shift to start creating a new shift.

    a. Select Outlet from the drop-down list.

    b. Select Shift Template from the drop-down list.

    c. Please fill in all fields required including Shift name, Date in.

    d. Check on the checkbox "Non-working day" if the shift falls on a Rest day, Off day or holiday.

    e. If the shift is recurring, please select set schedule and choose the frequency. Otherwise, please select "Non recurring".

    f. If you want to add one or more additional pay item to this specific shift, you may do so by clicking "Add pay items". Then, you may choose the pay item from the dropdown list and input the amount that you want to add.

  • Once done, click Submit and the shifts will be created and planned in the Shift Planning page as shown

  • Click on Publish Shifts to publish the roster out to your employees so they are aware of their shifts.

  • Currently, the Shift Planning page is displayed in a weekly view rather than a monthly view.
