In some instances, employees might be onboarded into the system with start or end dates that differ from what was originally intended. This can happen due to provisional information, administrative errors, or other temporary factors.

Fortunately, Payboy provides a straightforward solution to update these dates with ease. Below, we'll be able to guide you through the simple steps to make these adjustments efficiently.
How to Edit Employee's Start Date
1. Navigate to Employees > All Employees > key in the employee name and click the eye icon on the right side. You will be able to see the page below:
2. Click on the Employment Details tab, and scroll down until you see Career History information:
3. Click the edit button beside the Start Date, and key in the correct start date accordingly:
4. Click the Save button after you keyed in the correct date:

Note: The "Edit" button for the Start Date will only be visible when there are no payslips generated for the relevant employee.
If payslips have already been generated, you must delete them first to enable the edit option for the start date. It's recommended to save offline copies of the payslips in PDF format before deleting them from the system, as a precaution. If needed, you can re-generate the payslips after the start date has been updated.
How to Edit Employee's End Date
1. Navigate to Employees > All Employees > key in the employee name and click the eye icon on the right side:

4. Key in the correct end date before clicking the save button:
